Centering Prayer
Do you want
to experience prayer in a new way?
Join us on
Thursdays from 12:15 – 12:45 PM beginning February 18 at Our Savior’s
Lutheran.
Centering
Prayer is a form of contemplative prayer—the opening of mind and
heart—our whole being—to God. Come relax and experience this 20-minute
meditative prayer form. Questions? Call Laura @ 642-3715.

Mom's In
Touch
Attention MOMS! Are you a mom who desperately loves her children and
longs for them to grow up to be loving, confident and successful? Do you
fear that influences outside your control will steal their hearts?
You are not alone … come exchange your anxiety and fear with peace and
hope by praying with other moms in a local Moms In Touch prayer group.
Groups pray for preschool children to college/career young adults.
Please contact Kelly Klein, 605-641-2982, or visit
www.MomsInTouch.org
for more information on a group for you to
pray with others.

Healing Prayer Shawl Ministry
f
What is it?
A group of people from our
congregation who are knitting Healing Prayer Shawls for people with
serious illness, people facing surgery, people who are grieving, and
people facing difficult life circumstances.
Where & When? The
"knitters" are gathering on Monday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. for learning
and support. However, most of the knitting is being done whenever
& wherever the knitters choose.
What is the "Ministry"? Each
shawl is knitted with prayers woven in. Then every shawl is
blessed by a group of the "knitters" and given to the next person on the
request list.
How can I request a shawl? Call
the church office (642-3715) and leave a message for the Knitters
group. Leave the name of the person for whom the shawl will be made and
the reason it is being requested along with your name and phone number.
If the request is urgent, please indicate that as well.
